Nimbus Dance Spring Season: POINT OF DEPARTURE

Company:
Nimbus Dance
What does it mean to arrive somewhere — and to belong? Nimbus Dance's Spring Season weaves together four works exploring migration, identity, and home. The program features a world premiere by Princess Grace Award-winning choreographer Houston Thomas, set to live choral music by Saunder Choi performed by the West Village Chorale, alongside works by Pedro Ruiz and Yoshito Sakuraba, and the reprise of Through the Golden Door — a dance-theater collaboration with NYT bestselling author Helene Stapinski, drawn from the oral histories of longtime Jersey City residents.
