Starry Night Tango NYC — Live Tango Orchestra, Showcase & Milonga

Company:
Starry Night Tango
Starry Night Tango returns for its 3rd NYC Edition, bringing together performance, live music, and social dance in one immersive experience.
Experience an unforgettable night of Argentine tango in New York City, featuring a live tango orchestra, a professional showcase, and a full social milonga.
This special edition features the Maurizio Najt Tango Quartet, led by renowned pianist Maurizio Najt, a central figure in the New York tango revival, and including Latin Grammy-winning bandoneonist Rodolfo Zanetti.
Live tango orchestras are rarely featured in social milongas, making this a unique opportunity to experience tango music and dance in its most authentic form.
Join us for the third New York City edition of Starry Night Tango — a distinctive cultural experience where tango students and maestros share the stage in a professionally curated showcase, celebrating the art of learning, performance, and community.
This year’s edition expands into a full evening experience, bringing together stage performance, group class and social dance in one continuous celebration of Argentine tango.
The night begins with a curated showcase, featuring students and teachers presenting collective works and Pro-Am pieces in an elegant theatrical setting.
Following the performance, the evening continues with a Gala Milonga featuring live music by the Maurizio Najt Tango Quartet, a rare and highly anticipated musical experience in the New York tango scene.
Throughout the milonga, the quartet accompanies both the social dancing and our signature Maestro Rounds — where teachers first dance with each other and then share the floor with students from every participating school, creating one of the most vibrant and inclusive moments of the night.
More than an event, Starry Night Tango is a space where performance, live music, and social dance come together — connecting artists, students, and audiences in one shared experience.
