New York Theatre Ballet performs this weekend in The Public Theater's musical adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. The production is presented by Public Works, a division of The Public Theater which creates ambitious works of theater in partnership with community organizations from all 5 boroughs of New York City. The Winter's Tale is directed by Obie Award winner Lear DeBessonet, musical adaptation by Todd Almond, and choreography by Chase Brock.
Be sure to check out The Public Works Story Project, where you will see interviews with the community cast members. Our own Ballet School NY students Jennifer Levine, Benjamin Levine, and Coco Monroe are featured in Collections 6 and 9!
