NY Dance and Performance Awards, The Bessies
The nominees for the 2013-14 New York Dance and Performance Awards, better known as The Bessies, will be announced next week. Be part of the 30th anniversary celebration and join a special event party, Wednesday, July 16th, where we'll toast some of today's most outstanding works, companies, choreographers, and creative workers in the field of dance. The night's festivities include the announcement of nominees, presentation of the 2014 Bessie for Emerging Choreographer, introduction of the 2014 Bessie Jury, and celebration of participants and recipients from the first Bessie Awards ceremony in 1984.
