Nacre Dance presents "So You Think You Can Choreograph!?"

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – Nacre Dance, the Capital Region's premiere modern dance company, is seeking a guest choreographer for it's 2015-2016 season. The selected guest artist (paid position) will have the opportunity to work with the company in creating an original piece to be featured during the performance season.
Due to an abundance of quality entries in previous years, and in keeping with Nacre's commitment to showcasing up and coming work, up to 10 submissions will be chosen to have their pieces featured in our second annual So You Think You Can Choreograph!? on November 6, 2015 at the historic Proctors Theater in Schenectady. Audience members will vote for their favorite, and the winning choreographer will be offered the guest choreographer position. It's a unique opportunity to have your work featured and a chance to work closely with this renowned company.
Nacre is a performance organization dedicated to revitalizing historic choreography while opening the arena to new emerging artists.
