BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance is thrilled to announce our annual two-session Summer Intensives in May and June of 2025! Early in the season, there is no better way to kick off your summer training than with BodyStories!
Concluding the intensives, all participants will have the chance to perform alongside peers, and BodyStories company members in p e r s e v e r i e n c e, a series of three performances in the BodyStories NYC Season on June 12 + 13 in NYC.
Immerse yourself in a rich variety of contemporary technique, floorwork, spiraling through space from your core, improvisational exercises, and composition.
Session One of our Summer Intensive will be held at BodyStories’ Middlebrook Arts Research + Residency Center in Jefferson, NY. Zoom registration is also welcome for this session. At MAR+RC, all movers will have time to enjoy exploring the resplendent nature in and around our property, in addition to the extensive movement vocabulary, and exploration. Come prepared for camp fires, and cozy movie nights!
Throughout our NYC Session, we will be collaborating with guest teachers to bring you the most informational, enriching two days as possible. We formally invite you to join us for our two day in-person intensive held at Bernie Wohl Center (647 Columbus Avenue) on Tuesday June 3, and Wednesday June 4. If you are unable to join in person, no worries! We offer an immersive Zoom option for this intensive as well.
Both sessions will include classes taught by BodyStories’ Artistic Director, Teresa Fellion, BodyStories Company Members, and guest artists.

Interdisciplinary LAB: 10:00 am - 10:45 am
Technique: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Improvisation + Composition: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Diverse Range of Evening Activities Each Day, including a showing, outings, swimming, bonfires, improv jams, talkbacks and more!
Session II:
