Please join us for Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation's 16th Anniversary Gala, commencing on October 9th at 6:30pm with cocktails in the Grand Ballroom of the Cosmopolitan Club. The organization's Gala has grown to now include three honorees, and will feature a World Premiere by Jonah Bokaer Choreography, in honor of:
American Dance Abroad – Grantmaker Honoree
Nora Chipaumire – Innovation Honoree (Zimbabwe / USA)
Mayor of Hudson Rick Rector – Hudson Valley Honoree
Jonah Bokaer has cultivated a new form of Choreography merged with Visual Art & Design. American and Middle Eastern, employing 8 international dancers, the company has authored 63 original works, produced in 34 nations, 27 of the United States, and 292 cities – including 41 Museum Exhibitions worldwide. Earned & contributed funds from between 2002-2019 have realized 3 arts facilities spanning Brooklyn and Hudson, 14+ diverse jobs, $11M+ in revenue, and most recently 1 City-Wide Festival in Hudson, NY.
