Parsons Dance will be honoring the choreographic legacy of Paul Taylor mentoring David Parsons and David mentoring Robert Battle, at our 30th Anniversary Gala Celebration, to be held at Cedar Lake.
This is a once in a lifetime celebration of a special and important legacy of American dance choreography.
The evening begins with the Opening Night Gala Performance at 7:30pm at The Joyce Theater.
The program features featuring Paul Taylor’s Cloven Kingdom performed by the Paul Taylor Dance Company, The Hunt by Robert Battle, and a World Premiere by David Parsons. The program also includes fan favorites Brothers and Nascimento Novo.
The 30th Anniversary Gala Celebration will follow the performance, beginning at 9:00pm at Cedar Lake.
