Choreographers Merge to Emerge is returning for its 3rd annual concert benefit.

The event seeks to offer a performance platform for emerging choreographers in NYC.

And rich and affordable performance art for the audience.

While giving proceeds to a different organization every year.  Last years proceeds went to raise awareness against sexual violence for the national organization Take Back The Night.

This years proceeds will be offered to Charity Water. charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

It is free to submit for this call, and accepted choreographers will not be asked to submit a participation fee.  This years performance will take place at the prime space of Arts on Site, on St. Marks place. February 25th at 8pm.

 

More on Submissions:

We are seeking pre and professional emerging choreographers with diverse backgrounds in dance work.  

Works should be between 10-15 minutes.  

Choreographers must be NYC based.
