You are invited to a special celebration of the life of Dudley Williams taking place next Thursday evening at The Ailey Citigroup Theater. The beloved Dudley Williams performed with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater for more than four decades and left an indelible mark on everyone who witnessed his artistic magesty.
Dudley’s life will be celebrated in a special concert including tribute performances by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey Guest Artist Matthew Rushing, former Ailey dancer Renee Robinson, Ailey School Students, and The Martha Graham Dance Company. Ailey Artistic Director Emertia Judith Jamison, Ailey II Artistic Director Emerita Sylvia Waters, Geroge Faison, Donna Wood Sanders, Artistic Director Robert Battle and more will share special memories of Mr. Williams.
