Aimee Plauche & Performers Present About an Octopus
The Octopus: fascinating, poorly understood, and often grouped under the misnomer "octopi". In this absurdist and darkly comic dance theater work, the doomed cephalopod faces the miracles and pitfalls of its isolated existence: octopus magic, octopus dating, octopus wrestling, octopus anxiety, and more. Via these unexpected protagonists, “About an Octopus” explores the idea of the outsider and being part of something greater than oneself.
Featuring Cassandra Cotta, Bonnie O'Rourke, Therese Ronco, and Aimee Plauche.
Wednesday March 23rd, 2016. 8:00 PM
The Douglas Elliman Studio Theater upstairs at Triskelion Arts
