ALISON COOK BEATTY DANCE PRESENTS “ARTISTS IN MOTION 2026,” UNITING EIGHT FEMALE-LED DANCE COMPANIES AND CHOREOGRAPHERS AT THE AILEY CITIGROUP THEATER
New York, NY — Alison Cook Beatty Dance will present ARTISTS IN MOTION 2026 on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, bringing together eight dynamic female-led dance companies and choreographers for an evening celebrating contemporary dance, artistic collaboration, and diverse creative voices.

For ARTISTS IN MOTION 2026, Alison Cook Beatty Dance will present excerpts from two works that exemplify the company’s commitment to both deeply personal storytelling and socially meaningful dance.
The company will perform an excerpt from MANIFESTATIONS, a work that explores the psychological and emotional landscapes of its subjects through intensely physical choreography. Dance critic Jerry Hoffman of Critical Dance wrote, “Manifestations is as close to psychodramas choreographed by Sir Anthony Tudor as anything else within my memory.”
Alison Cook Beatty Dance will also present an excerpt from A VETERAN’S JOURNEY, featuring an original score by composer Wendy Griffiths. The work has been supported by a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, with additional support from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, NYC Chapter. Through movement and music, the work explores the experiences of veterans and the emotional realities surrounding service, sacrifice, transition, and healing.
Performing with Alison Cook Beatty Dance will be Madelaine Burnett, Ioanna Ioannides, Ava Trochiano, Facundo Ferreyra, Chynna Holder, Marcos Antonio, Makenna Zelenak, and Natalie Aronno.
