This holiday season, American Liberty Ballet brings its own NYC-based version of the Nutcracker to the stage at the Theater at St Jean’s in Manhattan.

“The Nutcracker: Welcome to New York Suite-y,” is a delightfully twisted take on the holiday classic that follows Clara, Fritz, and family on a visit their grandparents and Uncle Drosselmeyer in – where else but New York, Suitey.

Watch them battle giant rats and plane stewardesses, and see Clara and the Nutcracker Prince rescue Fritz from the Rat Queen! This original ballet will definitely captivate the entire family!

Walter Battistini of Ballet Eloelle/Grandiva (an all-male troupe that does parodies of classical ballets) plays Sugar Plum Fairy, while former Russian National Ballet principal Natasha Sheptalova dances the Rat Queen in our 10 th anniversary season.

Concept, storyline, and choreography by ALB Artistic Director Valerie Mae Browne directing a company of over 20 local artists as well as students from ALB’s official academy.

Join us for a non-stop flight of fun at the Theater of St. Jeans on 76 th Street and Lexington Ave in Manhattan.
