The 3rd annual Queensboro Dance Festival is October 17-23, 2016 at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City, Queens. Our mission is to strengthen the dance identity in Queens and bring together our vibrant community. Come represent Queens dance!
Deadline to apply: July 11, 2016
Participant Requirements:
- Choreographer or Dance Company must be based in Queens (mailing address)
- Dance work submitted must be performance ready; no works in progress please
- Unedited, full video of proposed work
- Dance work must not exceed 12 minutes
- If accepted, a $50 production fee is due via PayPal
*Queens or NYC Premieres preferred
The Queensboro Dance Festival offers:
- 1 tech rehearsal
- 1-3 performance evenings
- 1 comp guest ticket
- Access to watch the week's performances
- Exclusive events to connect with fellow Queens dancers, organizations, and media
- Opportunity to receive photo and video performance footage
- Additional outdoor summer performance opportunities
