LANDING is an experiment in transition, pedagogy, research, mentorship, and possibility.
Once a month over six months, a selected group of dance artists meet with each other, Gutierrez and a variety of extraordinary guest artists in the context of a recurring weekend-long workshop intensive. They learn about each other’s processes and experiment with different ways of being together using strategies derived from dance and performance.
The goal of LANDING is to create a network of experiences that addresses and supports the interests and challenges that face dance and performance artists either newly arrived to New York or those who crave a community learning context for better navigation through the current dance and performance landscape.
Confirmed Guest Artists for LANDING 3.0 include: Nora Chipaumire, Jonathan Gonzalez, Emily Johnson, Nic Kay, Jaamil Kosoko, Antonio Ramos, and Adrienne Truscott.
