OVERFLOW, a new dance work with original live music, models the behavioral properties of water, utilizing swirling patterns to mirror the ocean’s gyres, and cyclical waves of visible energy transference through the group, reflecting the actions in water that produce the effect of it traveling. OVERFLOW is a continuation of Artichoke Dance Company’s multi-platform Human Mapping Project exploring our relationship with and impact on nature.

Artichoke Dance Company is known for humorous theatrical athleticism, intricate partnering, and confronting contemporary social issues.
