Congratulations to our Arts Jobs Training Program's first batch of Graduating Trainees!

After completing a successful first year of the Lower East Side Cultural Corridor Arts Jobs Training Program, The Clemente will be celebrating the participating organizations and graduating trainees on Wednesday August 6th. The ceremony will include remarks from Director of the LES-AJTP, Cecilie Noreng, and The Clemente's Executive Director, Jan Hanvik, as well as statements from trainee graduates, Kian Ross and Victoria Brown, and participating organization leaders, Alison Fleminger of University Settlement, Robyn Shapiro of The Lowline, Bonnie Stein of GOH Productions, and Tamara Greenfield of Fourth Arts Block. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this pilot program a success. Read up on the programs beginnings here. The LES-AJTP is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
