NYC Dance Arts is searching for strong male and female dancers at beginner to advanced levels to join the professional dance company for it's 4th Season! We are looking for dancers with a background in ballet, contemporary & afro-modern dance to fill roles in the 1st and 2nd Cast of the Company.
Auditions will be held on Wendesday, August 27th from 7pm-10pm
AUDITION INFORMATION:
6:45pm-7:00pm, Check-in
7:00pm-7:15pm, Choreography
7:15pm-8:00pm, Review
8:00pm-8:15pm, Choreography
8:15pm-8:30pm, Review
8:30pm-8:45pm, Selection Process
8:45pm-9:30pm, Company
Introduction
9:30pm-10:00pm, Interviews
PLEASE NOTE:
*All dancers must bring his or her Head Shot, Dance Biography or Resume/CV to each audition
*Dance Attire: Women should wear a black leotard and black shorts or leggings, Men should wear a black shirt and black shorts or pants
A auditioning dancer may be asked to perform his/her routine more than once for re-consideration if necessary.
*All dancers must participate in an one-on-one interview with the Director prior to being accepted into the Company
Dancers who are accepted into the Company will either be given a position as a the Company Principal Dancer, Principal Apprentice, Soloist I, Soloist II or Corps Dancer.
