THE FUTURE: CHOREOGRAPHER + ARCHITECT + DANCER
Experience acclaimed choreographer Robert Sher-Machherndl's latest work JULIET - world premiere. He takes inspiration from human behavior and interaction in a fast paced digital age. Meet characters Juliet, Hanna and Klaus-Maria as they interpret new and unimagined movemen language, taking the audience on a powerful and emotional journey. Distinctively innovative, JULIET reflects upon themes of connection, disconnection to intolerant action.
Award-winning architect Mike Moore joins the exploration. He take inspiration from illuminated device screens, and creates a floating light cube in the state-of-the-art 5600 sq ft gymnasium boasting 40 ft ceilings. The audience is seated around the illuminated shape and the performance takes place inside. The performance space is transformed to an engaging, interactive environment for the public to enjoy.
