AVID Dance
AVID (Artistic Ventures in Dance) returns to New York City to launch its second season with BOUNDLESS: Where Ballet’s Future Takes Flight—a vibrant, genre-blending evening of bold world premieres, acclaimed repertory, and live music by chamber ensemble Ensemble Mycelium. Curated by Artistic Director Emily Speed, the program features work by Daniel Ojeda, Quinn Wharton, Ursula Verduzco, Cherice Barton, Danielle Diniz, and a revival of Gerald Arpino’s jubilant Confetti.
From cinematic explorations of identity to ritual-inspired grief work, and from sleek contemporary ballet to exuberant athleticism, BOUNDLESS brings together choreographers and composers who are reimagining ballet for today and tomorrow.
