AN EVENING WITH BALLET INC.
Aaron Atkins presents “Ballet Inc: An Evening with Ballet Inc,” the first full evening of his fresh young Company, Friday October 25 @ 8 PM. Ballet Inc features an ensemble of 11 dancers, joined by guest artists whose credits include Eliot Feld’s Ballet Tech, the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Elisa Monte Dance, and others. Founded just last year, Ballet Inc has appeared in a few shared programs, including Peridance and Kat Wildish showcases. This performance at Tribeca PAC marks their first fully self-produced evening. This eclectic group of dancers exude raw talent in seven different pieces presented in the evening. Atkins’ very demanding choreographic style is firmly based in his classical training – three of the program’s ballets are en pointe – with the addition of a very contemporary sensibility.
