The Ellison Ballet will present its Winter Showcase 2012, a program of romantic and classical ballet masterworks, including excerpts from Giselle and  La Bayadere, staged by Edward Ellison and Erin Forrest, and Bournonville's Le Conservatoire, staged by Karina Elver, former member of the Royal Danish Ballet.   The already scheduled performances have been changed to a fundraising event  with proceeds going to two specific families who were devastated by  Hurricane Sandy.    Guest artists and ensembles have also joined the performance, including Gonzalo Garcia, principal with NYCB, The Steps Repertory Ensemble, dancers from The Juilliard School Dance Department, the Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Manhattan Youth Ballet, and 14-year-old prodigy Aran Bell.   Two performances, December 7 & 8 at 8 PM at MMAC, 248 West 60th Street.
