We are looking for Modern Dancers (male) for upcoming performances at the New York Live Arts (NYLA) Theater from Feb. 13-19, 2017. Weekend rehearsals. No rehearsal pay. Performance stipend.
Casting for a new 'Girl Meets Boy' Modern Dance Fairy Tail set to music by Misty Boyce, which will be performed live. (Still also looking for male lead, who will be on stage for entire 45 minute one-act).
Born Dancing, Inc. a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to inclusion in dance. Productions include professional (non-disabled) dancers as well as dancers with physical disabilities. This upcoming production will also have elementary and high school students (with disabilities) as part of the production, though they are NOT performing in the one-act we are currenly casting. Interested dancers should genuinely want to share in the challenge and joy of working with a broad range of people.
