Brooklyn Ballet 2015 Season: "Roots & New Ground"
Brooklyn Ballet's spring season launches April 16-19 and we invite you to join us! We'll present dances and collaborations including a revival by Founding Artistic Director, Lynn Parkerson, and new works by David Fernandez, Matthew Powell, Mike "Big Mike" Fields, Emily Oleson & Kwame Opare (4/16 & 4/17) and Phaedra and Samara (4/18 & 4/19), featuring select compositions by Malcolm Parson. Roots & New Ground will reflect multicultural traditions from Ballet to West African Dance to Middle Eastern dance, celebrating both new and old dance forms with exquisite dancing and live music. All performances take place at The Actors Fund Arts Center,160 Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201
