First Look is an annual curated dance series hosted by Brooklyn Ballet featuring emerging and established choreographers. The 2015 performances include work by Lauren Hafner Addison/BOINK! Dance & Film, Crystal Bella, Shawn T. Bible, Marika Brussel, Caitlin Dutton, Kristin Draucker, Alexeya EM, William Ervin, Joanna Futral/The Lovelies, Remi Harris, Amanda Hinchey, Laura Hydak, Kendra Monroe/Shot of Scotch, and Suzan Polat. Plus, a special restaging of Valerie Bettis' work "The Desperate Heart" (1943) on Friday and Saturday. Program alternates each night. See our website for details: www.brooklynballet.org/firstlook
