Buglisi Dance Theatre, renowned for its superb dancers and theatrical works on the human condition, from social justice to climate change, returns to the Ailey Citigroup Theater with the preview of "The Wing and the Shell" by artistic director/choreographer Jacqulyn Buglisi; "Bare to the Wall Suite" (1996); the 2025 solo "Being Mortal" for company member Jai Perez; and the dramatic duet "Sospiri," all created by Buglisi. The evening will also feature guest Lorenzo Pagano in his solo "Dream/Existence," and the New York premiere of "Consortium" (6/23) by Ron De Jesus, performed by guests Bendul & Abdiel.
