CANTATA PROFANA

On November 22nd, Cantata Profana will present its second mainstage concert of the season -- France Dance Revolution. This collection of French dance masterworks will be performed in a first time collaboration with the stunningly original Baroque and modern dance soloist, Caroline Copeland. Copeland’s talents are uniquely suited to CP’s musical profile in its effortless shifts from Baroque to modern styles. With a program ranging from Poulenc’s raucously irreverent Le Bal Masqué to Clerambault’s savagely dramatic solo cantata, Médée, both music and dance promise to unite in a rousing celebration of the great French esprit.
