CHICAGO, IL: Hedwig Dances premiers New Work at Chicago DanceMakers Forum's ELEVATE 2022

In it’s 38th season of making awe-inspiring dance, Hedwig Dances will participate in Chicago DanceMakers Forum's ELEVATE 2022, in this Chicago premiere of its new work, META | MOR | PHOS - A Triadic Fiction, co-produced with the Bauhaus Foundation in Dessau Germany.
This exciting new work is a sequel to Oskar Schlemmer's iconic Triadic Ballet on the occassion of its 100th anniversary. The production team includes Jan Bartoszek (Choreographer); Torsten Blume (Dramaturg) with Ciara Borg, Olivia Gonzalez, Jessie Gutierrez, Hannah Marcus, Lucas van Rensburg, Rigo Saura (Dancers); Jacky Kelsey (Costume Designer) with fabrication by the Chicago Puppet Studio, a program of the Chicago International Puppet Festival, Torsten Blume, Annegret Mittmann, Andreas Wohmann, Eduardo Sosa; and Patricia Taxxon (Composer) with sound design and additional composition by Richard Woodbury; and Michael Reed (Lighting Designer).
