Expect an intimate conversation with the artist as she reads from her most recent essays and speeches, including one given on the steps of the Supreme Court.
Amy’s writing does not hold back. She tells honest stories of her elderly parents, her pubescent, special needs daughter, her political activism and her own aging body. The stories are poignant, insightful and balls-out funny, as she weaves her particular point of view of what it is to be fully alive. This evening's work will be complementary but separate from Brenneman's performances during the weekend. Expect an intimate conversation with the artist.
