Young Arts
On May 14, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) will present Critical Junctures, its next installment of the New York public Salon Series, featuring the esteemed Russian-American choreographer and former ballet dancer Alexei Ratmansky in conversation with recent Leonore Annenberg Fellowship recipient and YoungArts alumna Cassandra Trenary (2011 Winner in Dance), a soloist of American Ballet Theatre. The candid conversation will explore how to navigate the competitive dance world as an emerging artist to ensure longevity in the field. A perfect Mother’s Day activity, mothers with their families will receive free admission. Critical Junctures is one of several dynamic programs hosted by YoungArts in New York this year, which prominently feature the organization’s alumni and master teachers based in the area.
