the New York International Ballet Competition pays tribute to its late founder/director Ilona Copen with a program that features artists, including some NYIBC alumni, from ABT, Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, Limon Dance Company, New Jersey Ballet, Joffrey Ballet/Chicago, and North Carolina Dance Theatre.    Evening also includes presentation, by Virginia Johnson, of the first Ilona Copen Award to Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride for their contributions to the world of dance.
