This piece is a ‘Chafla’ (arabic word for party). Four talented performers, full of courage and humor, create a unique experience, bringing the enthusiasm and the joy of the ‘Chafla’ through high-quality, happy dance. Urfa was specifically made to question the different aspects of the Arabic culture in the Israeli public sphere. The soundtrack is a collection of famous singers from all over the Arab world and the movement, the atmosphere, the choice of art and looks of the characters appearing are all inspired by Arabic culture that surrounds Jerusalem’s region.
