Special training program for young dancers

Dances by Isadora is offering special workshops with master teachers which will give students a taste of the techniques of Isadora Duncan, José Limón, Martha Graham, Anna Sokolow, Doris Humphrey, Charles Weidman, Merce Cunningham, and more, expanding their dance knowledge and experience of these great Modern Dance Innovators.

Classes will emphasize Isadora Duncan’s foundational technique. This unique and vitalform trains young dancers to use body, mind and spirit in the process of learning and creating dance. This “natural” dance has a specific series of exercises, locomotion combinations and coordination patterns that differ greatly from, yet enhance other dance techniques.
