Words on Dance, in association with Symphony Space, will present "From Ballet Broadway," an evening with Christopher Wheeldon, featuring the internationally acclaimed choreographer and director in rarely seen TV and film clips, and a live conversation with Academy/Tony/Emmy/Grammy award-winning Rita Moreno, April 27, 7 PM at Symphony Space. Wheeldon will talk about this extraordinary career, including his memories of training at The Royal Ballet School, and dancing with The Royal Ballet and NYCB. The conversation will take place 2 weeks after the much-anticipated opening of "An American in Paris" on Broadway, directed and choreographed by Wheeldon. Tickets for $150 are also available for premium seating and the post-program private reception with the artists.
