Caitlin Trainor, director of her own company and a popular teacher at Barnard, presents her 12-member company, joined by guest Kaitlyn Gilliland, formerly with New York City Ballet, in a program of all premieres. Program features "Freefall," which explores different and imaginative ways of falling; "Talk Radio," a clever dance to a collage of radio sounds from Mozart to sex advice from Dr. Ruth from talk radio shows in the 1980's; and "Kaitlyn and Caitlin," a dance conversation for a barefoot Trainor and an on pointe Gilliland.

Dardo Galletto's 14-member New Generation Dance Company in a one-hour program of authentic Argentine tango and original choreography by Galletto, whose background ranges from traditional Argentine tango to dancing with Julio Bocca's Ballet Argentino. Special guests are Gabriel Misse and Analia Centurion. The performance will be followed by a tango milonga to 1 AM, during which Misse's birthday will be celebrated!

As part of Latin American Cultural Week, director/producer Polly Ferman presents a repeat of "GlamourTango," the all-female multi-media music and dance spectacle that pays tribute to the early women of tango, with fascinating and rarely seen black & white films from Buenos Aires recorded in the early 40's. The musicians and dancers hail from Uruguay, Argentina, Cuba, Israel, Korea, Germany, and the U.S., playing and dancing to music by Piazzolla, Salgan, and other tango composers.

ALESSANDRA BELLONI'S DAUGHTERS OF CYBELE

Alessandra Belloni presents hre Daughters of Cybele, an all-woman ensemble of percussionists and dancers, in "Honoring the Sea Goddess," featuring two guest drummers from Italy: Kikki delli Santi (a professor of percussion at the Venice Conservatory), and drummer Serena Davini. Instruments include tambourines, frame drums, ocean drum, marimba, djembe, shakers, bells, dumbeck, riqq, tamburello, and more. The Company also features percussionist Olimpia Avignone and dancers Caterina Rago, Francesca Silvano, Danielle Hartman, Beth Mastroianno, and Jillian Alighieri.

MIRO MAGLOIRE'S NEW CHAMBER BALLET

Back from its tour of Germany, the company performs new and repertory works by Miro Magloire, including a premiere to music by Michel Galante, and a repeat of guest choreographer/dancer Constantine Baecher's "Allow You to Look at Me." American Baecher was a nine-year member of the Royal Danish Ballet.
