Clifton Brown is from Goodyear, Arizona. He began his dance training at Take 5 Dance Academy and continued in the first class of the Ailey/Fordham BFA in Dance program. Brown began his professional career when he joined the Ailey company in 1999 and served as choreographic assistant to Judith Jamison. He has also danced with Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, and was a founding member and rehearsal director for Jessica Lang Dance. He was nominated in the U.K. for a Critics Circle National Dance Award for Best Male Dancer and received a Black Theater Arts Award as well as a New York Dance and Performance Award ("The Bessies"). As a guest artist Mr. Brown has performed with Miami City Ballet, Rome Opera Ballet, Nevada Ballet and Parsons Dance Company. He has set the work of Alvin Ailey, Earl Mosley and Jessica Lang on various companies around the world. Television appearances as a guest artist include So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars. He has had the privilege of performing at the White House for President Obama. Mr. Brown rejoined the company in 2017.

Mindy Jackson has been a professional dancer, choreographer, Rehearsal Director, teacher and youth mentor for concert dance, theater, music videos and television for over 15 years. She has had the honor and privilege of working with top contemporary dance makers including Aszure Barton, Cherice Barton, Donald Byrd, Benoit Swan Pouffer, Larry Keigwin, Seán Curran, Monica Bill Barnes, Nathan Trice, and many more. Currently, Mindy is the Director of Professional Training Programs and on faculty at Steps on Broadway in New York City.


NOW Dance Project is a New York City-based contemporary dance company founded by choreographer and dancer Jacquelyn Nowicki, that explores athleticism, challenges patterns, and takes dynamic risks. Nowicki has danced with companies around the world, taught throughout the country, and choreographed athletic, daring, and exciting works imbued with her singular approach to movement.


Founded by Artistic Director Igal Perry, New York City's Peridance Contemporary Dance Company has been a powerhouse of energetic and evocative dance since 1984. Operating from its home at the renowned Peridance Capezio Center at Union Square, the Company presents an annual NY Season at the Salvatore Capezio Theater as well as guest performances in venues such as the Joyce Theater and Lincoln Center. In the past five years alone, the Company's domestic and international tours has brought contemporary dance to over 45,000 audience members around the globe. As part of its outreach commitment, the Company offers its "Dance-Break" program devoted to providing an array of educational opportunities for children and youth, often in underserved communities and schools in the Tri-State area.
