In his dance, natural movements coexist with the theatrics of contemporary dance. Choreographer and dancer Sung Hoon Kim has incorporated the dynamic and dramatic styles of contemporary dance with the wild and defiant energy of street/ salsa dance.
In this Workshop, he will bring out the emotions from each character through self- awareness and explore beyond the technical and physical movements. The dance movements will be created from our individuality and habits. What are our strengths? What are our limitations? Who are we? How are our emotions or feelings portrayed? These are the questions that will increase our capabilities as dancers as we learn to harness the energy inside our body. Our approach is to get closer to the public, touching the senses of our audience. Forget "formality" that's associated with dance and bridge the gap between you and your inner sense to find the habits & feelings what we didn't know existed.
