For Ages 18 months to 6 years
Description: Creative Movement develops young dancers' creative expression and abilities to move by focusing on simple concepts, shapes, levels in space, movement qualities, and dynamics. Theseclasses teach a basic understanding of rhythm and musical phrasing, as well as developmental and social skills. As they progress, students learn and creatively explore the basic movement vocabulary that forms the foundation for ballet and more advanced dance training. Students develop an understanding of how their bodies move, explore the expressive qualities of movement and gain confidence in themselves and their ability to dance with and in front of other dancers.
