New York, NY After the first wildly successful collaboration between Dance Films Association (DFA) and DCTV to co-present Long Legs Short Films in November 2014, DCTV and DFA come together again to present another evening of moving moving images. Via new short films of various genres, we invite you to watch dance through a different lens, witnessing its transformation when moved from stage to screen. Featuring work ranging from documentation to documentary to animation to silent film to flash mob, many of the filmmakers will be in attendance and joining us for a post-screening Q&A.

Dance Films Association (DFA) builds upon founder Susan Braun’s vision by acting as the catalyst for the production, presentation, and preservation of dance on camera. Today, DFA serves the global dance film community by providing membership opportunities, connecting artists and organizations, fostering new works for new audiences, and sharing essential resources.
