A digital viewing party of the 1975 film Dog Day Afternoon by Sidney Lumet with Live Arts’ 2019–2020 Randjelović/Stryker Resident Commissioned Artist (RCA) Raja Feather Kelly on Thursday August 22nd, at 5:30pm EDT. Viewers must RSVP in order to participate. Presentation will also feature exclusive footage.

Prior to the viewing of Dog Day Afternoon, Kelly will present exclusive material about the neighborhood of Gravesend, Brooklyn where the real-life bank robbery at the center of the film took place. After the viewing, there will be a pre-recorded Q & A with Raja Feather Kelly and Chris Sarandon, who plays the character of Leon in the movie. This viewing is a continuation of Raja Feather Kelly’s new multimedia dance-documentary project, WEDNESDAY, set to premiere at Live Arts in 2021.
