Dance Theatre of Harlem's 2017 City Center Season
Company:
Dance Theatre of Harlem
Experience the sheer power and diversity of 21st century ballet at Dance Theatre of Harlem’s 2017 City Center season, featuring two New York premieres: resident choreographer Robert Garland’s elegant Brahms Variations and System, a new work by Francesca Harper set to the music of John Adams. Rounding out the lineup are the DTH premiere of José Limón’s Chaconne, Dianne McIntyre’s Change (back by popular demand), and a new production of Dialogues by choreographic icon Glen Tetley, as well as a special tribute to Mr. Tetley featuring special guest artists Texas Ballet Theater and more!
Stay after the Friday evening performance for a post-show talkback with the choreographers, and bring your kids to the Saturday family matinee for a “Meet the Ballerina” event!
“A thrill ride.”
