SEEKING 50 NEW YORKERS FOR RHAPSODY AT BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK
A celebration of movement, shared space, and connection. Whether you're a dancer or you simply dance in the privacy of your living room, join us! ALL are welcome.
Known for its electrifying work and dynamic community dances, K+C will enliven Brooklyn Bridge Park in July 2023 with Rhapsody, developed by and in community, featuring New Yorkers – dancers and non-dancers, young and old alike.
No previous dance experience required -- just enthusiasm and energy. You'll be guided through a playful choreographic process with Larry Keigwin, Nicole Wolcott, and K+C dancers using games and guided improvisation to allow you to uncover your creativity and physicality. Find new ways of moving, dance alongside your neighbors, have the opportunity to perform, and have fun!
Rhapsody will harness the unique spirit and talents of its diverse cast of performers to create a moving outdoor celebration of art-making, humanity, and shared space, accompanied by live music by multi-instrumentalist William Catanzaro and CHAIN.

In collaboration with Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, K+C aims to activate Brooklyn Bridge Park as an essential gathering place and invites New Yorkers to experience their park, their fellow community members, and dance in vibrant new ways.
