The Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble, Paul Taylor Dance Company dancer Alex Clayton, and Nikolaj McKenzie will appear in Dances by Charles Weidman, a program of rarely seen works by great modern dance pioneer Charles Weidman.
The Sokolow dancers will perform "Lynchtown" and "Bach's Christmas Oratorio", both staged by Gail Corbin; Alex Clayton will appear in "Men's Dance", Weidman's contribution to Doris Humphrey's "New Dance", and Nikolaj McKenzie will perform "Danse Americaine", created by Ted Shawn for Weidman during his years as a member of Denishawn.
