Dances of Love: Celebrating Margaret Craske & the Cecchetti Ballet Technique

Margaret Craske’s extraordinary contributions to dance range from dancing with Diaghilev’s Ballet Russe to her far-reaching work as a teacher of the Cecchetti method, having been a noted pupil of the technique’s founder, Enrico Cecchetti.
This celebration of Craske includes live performance by Taylor 2 and New York Theatre Ballet dancers in choreography by Merce Cunningham, Antonia Franceschi, José Limon, Matthew Nash and Antony Tudor, a panel including co-curators Diana Byer, Founder/Artistic Director, NYTB, and ABT’s Jean Volpe with Antonia Franceschi, Donald Mahler, Matthew Nash, Stephen Pier and Sarah Stackhouse.
