Danspace Project-The Show Must Go On- Despite Cancellations, Yvonne Rainer and dancers generously perform a free matinee

Dates:

Thursday, November 1, 2012 - 9:00am

Thursday, Friday and Saturday night performances of Yvonne Rainer's new premiere have been canceled. Come to Free Matinee-Bring a Flashlight!

Dear Danspace Project Community,

We hope that you have weathered the storm and are staying safe and dry. Like many of you, the Danspace Project staff is currently working remotely while we await electricity to be restored to St. Mark's Church as well as to some of our homes. For that reason we will not be able to respond to your inquiries immediately; thank you for your patience.

The show must go on - but safely. To that end, we have two important announcements:

1) Thursday, Friday and Saturday night performances of Yvonne Rainer's new premiere have been canceled. Ticketholders to these performances, please stay tuned for information on potential rescheduling, refunds and exchanges. Please note: we will not be able to accommodate these requests until we are fully up and running.

2) Danspace Project, Yvonne Rainer and her generous dancers are offering a post-hurricane, FREE community matinee performance of Assisted Living/Good Sports 2, this Saturday, November 3rd at 1pm.

We ask that you participate in our low-tech lighting design and PLEASE BRING A FLASHLIGHT with you!

Seating will be on a first-come, first-serve and capacity is very limited.
No reservations will be taken for this special matinee - the doors open at 12:30pm.
If you can make it safely, we encourage to you come out for this special, low-tech performance!

Warmest,
Judy and the Danspace Project Team
