We are thrilled to be offering two upcoming premieres presented by the Performance Project at University Settlement House in an evening we are calling DePression Pink this November 29 – December 1!

In DePression Pink, Alice Klugherz and her all female troop take you on a bumpy dive through depression, feminism and rage. Somber and hilarious, "The glass is not half full or empty -- it's a dull glass and now I'm going to smash it.” Intense and beautiful humorous and frustrated they scream out the fury and dig for the good parts; and we walk out feeing loved.

In Deer in the Light, inspired by the #metoo movement and co-created with a cast of female performers whose ages range from 20's to 60's, Alice also welcomes writer/actors Marlene Nichols and Susan O'Doherty we listen and see stories of the #metoo movement unwind some of this monumental awakening. Written, choreographed and directed by Alice Klugherz with the performers. Approached from many angles, we begin to feel the ripples of a movement whose surface has just been scratched. With sound design by Allan Hunter.
