Health Insurance Initiatives for Freelancers and Small Business Owners

Guest speaker Nadege Noel will cover everything you need to know about health insurance options for small business owners.
Nadege Noel is the Outreach Manager for Health Republic Insurance of New York, a health insurance company established through the Affordable Care Act for New York state residents offering consumer-operated and oriented, nonprofit health insurance plans (CO-OP). She joined Health Republic with over 7 years' experience in the health insurance industry and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Management from The City College of the City University of New York, and a Master’s Degree in Performing Arts Management from New York University. Nadege also has a ballet, ballroom, and Argentine Tango background. She has taught Argentine Tango at various studios and community centers, has performed on many occasions, and was the General Manager for the Jamaica Performing Arts Center in Queens.

Our Business Group provides dancers in New York with practical business information, and allows them to network with other entrepreneurs and business people. The Business Group is moderated by CTFD Career Counselor Lauren Gordon and Krisha Marcano. All entrepreneur dancers at any stage in their business development—including their performing career businesses—are invited to attend.
