ABOUT THIS SHOW
Spanning across almost 4500 years, ideas and stories of distinguished individuals unfold on stage as they converse, collaborate, debate, even struggle with one another. Sumerian princess/priestess Enheduanna, the first author known to men, and the Goddess she worshiped, Inanna, ask each other for support; Fryderyk Chopin and George Sand discuss the meaning of the pianist’s compositions; Emma Lazarus and Esterre Meucci disagree on the meaning of home; and finally, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol paint on top of each other’s works.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ran Xia is an interdisciplinary artist and storyteller, permanent and willing captive of the realm of imagination.. She uses whatever material at hand to tell stories that matter, and is drawn to the romantics of both arts and science. Visual: Art Takes Times Square, Stories of the Creative (SEE.ME), Dacia Gallery (Times Square Arts Centre), Spiegel Me (Installation at Fountains Foundation, Columbia College, Chicago). Theatre | Dixon Place: North (Playwright), They Lived in the Attic (Playwright, Dir.), [ai] (Script/Director) NYC: Animals Out of Papers (by Rajiv Joseph, set designer); The Last Dance (P.A., York Theatre Company).
