Dragons on the Wall  was created in collaboration  with Nobel Literature Prize Nominated Poet Bei Dao and celebrated composer Joan La Barbara.  In this visceral and theatrical work, Nai-Ni Chen re-unites the art of poetry and calligraphy in the contemporary context by breaking the two-dimensional boundary of the calligraphic canvas and re-writing Bei Dao's contemporary poetry on the four dimensions of the stage, integrating stage set, visual projection, movement and lighting.
