'Drums of Illumination"

Alessandra Belloni, Internationally renowned percussionist and specialist in Southern Italian folk music and dance, brings together three great cultures - Southern Italian, Brazilian and Native American, for "Drums of Illumination," a celebration of the Winter Solstice. The company of drummers, vocalists and dancers will summon the healing power of drumming, voice and ritual trance dances from ancient traditions. Performers include Belloni, Sergio Bellotti, Giuseppe De Falco, stilt walker Mark Mindek, Brazilian Davi Vieira, and Native American SilverCloud Singers.
